Reed Healthcare Services, Corp. is authorized to provide the American Red Cross Family Program. The program allows health and services training for people in the community. We have certified instructors who have thoroughly accomplished the required training and are authorized by our local American Red Cross Chapter.
The American Red Cross Family Program can be used to train volunteers, clients or any member of the family who are currently caring for their own loved one. The program itself enables you to gain a perspective on what it actually feels like to provide care for a senior or individuals with disabilities as well as instruct you on how to manage or handle the situation.
Even if you have undergone this program and you are not a professional care giver, it is always best to contact your local health care providers to assist you if the care situation gets too overwhelming for you. This program is intended to broaden your horizons as well as give you basic instructions and knowledge on how to assist in the care of your dearly loved ones.
